A charming place with quirks

The staff's friendliness made us feel at home, and the location was perfect for exploring the Malecon. Exploring the vibrant local markets was easily accessible and so much fun.

Unfortunately, the noise from the street was bothersome at night and disrupted our sleep. The room cleanliness left much to be desired, and some appliances were broken.

experience with its charming decor and friendly staff. The location is superb, just blocks away from bustling restaurants and shops. However, the noise from nearby nightlife can be disruptive at night, so bring earplugs for a better sleep.

The room had a peculiar layout that made accessing shower and toilet light switches awkward, being on the opposite side of the bed. Limited hanging options meant towels and swimsuits had to dry on kitchen chairs, which didn’t work out well. The bathroom flooded due to maintenance issues, creating several inconveniences, and there was noticeable dampness and peeling paint on the walls, indicating a lack of upkeep. A missing key at check-in caused unnecessary waiting.

The location was a major highlight, being just a stone's throw away from the Malecon and beach, making it easy to explore the area. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of fun. Loved the rooftop terrace for some relaxation and chill time.

I loved my cozy little room with a hot plate and a mini fridge, perfect for making my own meals. The rooftop lounge with hammocks was a dream for relaxing after a day out, and the hot water was reliable throughout my stay. Just a heads-up, it can get a bit noisy on weekends, so pack some earplugs! 😄

The bed was very comfy and the bedding exceptional for a 3-star place. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop lounge with hammocks for relaxation. The staff was responsive and friendly, eager to assist with any questions I had. Additionally, there are plenty of dining options nearby, making it convenient to find meals.

The location is quite central, ideal for reaching nearby restaurants and nightlife, and the bed was impressively comfortable, providing a good night's rest. However, cleanliness was a concern. I found cigarette burns on the sheets and sand from the previous guest, suggesting inadequate housekeeping. Additionally, maintenance issues like a loose toilet seat and peeling paint made for an uncomfortable stay. The communication with the staff was professional, but responses to cleaning concerns fell short of expectations.

We loved the spacious common area where our big crew could hang out together. The decor was lovely, and the staff was quick to resolve the door issue we faced. It was also a huge plus being so close to theme parks for our little ones.

In my wife’s opinion, the noise from nearby nightlife was bothersome for a family stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Maria Malecon! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the vibrant Malecon, and our King Suite was very comfortable with premium bedding. The WiFi was reliable, and we loved having a flat-screen TV for evening relaxation.
